Abstract

Secular Humanism (SH) has been unable to provide an adequate foundation for public ethics and has been destructive of those faith communities on which it depends for its very existence. Thus, what is required is a new political system, based on religious freedom and a dialogue which includes all these communities (including SH), that prevents such destruction and is able to provide a convincing public ethics.
