Abstract

This paper is focused on the critical discussion that Ps. Justinus (an Aristotelian author of the fifth century AD) addresses to some basic principles of Aristotle's philosophy of nature. Ps. Justinus concentrates his criticism on the Aristotelian doctrine of the eternity of movement, of time and of the world. He also argues against Aristotle to show the non eternity of the ether, implying an unification of the terrestrial and celestial realms.
