Abstract
In the genetic analysis carried on by Husserl in Experience and judgment the “type” appears to be a fundamental contribution to the study of objectivities’ constitution. Typifying apperception lies on experience’s contents referred to the context of a subject and it reveals itself as an important component of the pre-knowledge that informs pre-predicative experience. Displaying the features and function of the type we will try to show the field or moment of the originary experience, from which it will arise what we wanted to call: an originally “modal” sense of experience and, consequently, the justification of a modal analysis and a modal comprehension of experience.
