Abstract
Based upon Aquinas' commentary to the books Peri Hermeneias and Metaphysics of Aristotle, we raise two hypothesis: a) there was a translation and a commentary of Severinus Boethius on Aristotle's Metaphysics and b) Boethius is not only an authority in logic but also in prôtèphilosophía. We try to prove our thesis resorting to specific texts of Aquinas's philosophical commentaries.
