Abstract
In this article we present some characteristics of the material universe that allow us, using the statements of the current worldview, as well as the ones of contemporary cosmology, to support the metaphysical analysis of the universe as a contingent and caused entity. That, in a certain way, allows theodicy to study God as an efficient cause of the universe, both in the conclusions of cosmology and the current worldview, based on the analysis of self-organization, complexity and finality systems.
