Abstract
Did Kant always think that there cannot be theoretical proofs of God? In this paper the content of the Kantian work, known as Beweisgrund, within the pre-critic period, is analyzed. The argument of the existence of God through the possibility is expounded with great detail, while focusing on two Kantian statements: "the inner possibility, the essences of things, is that which, if it is suppressed, destroys all what is thinkable" and, therefore, the denial of the existence of God would be a "complete nothingness."
