Resumen

El concepto de objeto trascendental hace referencia, en el marco de la Crítica de la razón pura, a la causa o fundamento de los fenómenos externos, o bien, por el contrario, a un concepto de objeto en general pensado por la conciencia a fin de garantizar la validez objetiva de sus representaciones. En este trabajo se intentará mostrar que —contrariamente a lo sugerido por diversos intérpretes— la ambigüedad implicada en el uso kantiano de este concepto no es resultado de un descuido terminológico, sino que se funda en principios doctrinales del idealismo crítico.
