Análisis de algunas críticas contemporáneas en torno a la eventual propuesta política de Alasdair MacIntyre

Abstract
La filosofía política de Alasdair MacIntyre ha mostrado ser sumamente influyente en los debates actuales sobre las instituciones políticas modernas y su relación con la ética, pero también ha sido foco de numerosas críticas, provenientes de diversas corrientes de pensamiento. De ellas, las más documentadas apuntan a la falta de explicitación, claridad y viabilidad en su propuesta política. En este artículo analizamos tres de estas críticas, expresadas por Perreau-Saussine, Pierre Manent, Keith Breen, Ronald Beiner y Daniel Edward Young. El primer objetivo, por tanto, es exponer y destacar brevemente los aspectos principales de la teoría política macintyreana, mientras que el segundo es analizar las críticas de dichos autores. Finalmente, exploramos la existencia de una eventual propuesta política viable desde la teoría política de MacIntyre incorporando en el análisis, a su vez, aquellas críticas que parezca que tengan asidero.
