Abstract

The 2025 reform of the Amparo Law strengthened digital justice in multiple ways. This article examines the legal and technological scope of that reform regarding digital justice, as well as its implications for transparency, procedural efficiency, and institutional interoperability. It argues that the digitalization of the amparo proceeding not only modernizes procedures but also reinforces the right of access to justice and public information. Through a doctrinal and empirical review, the paper highlights the progress achieved in the use of the Federal Judiciary’s Online Services Portal, the advantages of interoperability between judicial and administrative systems, and the challenges posed by data protection and the digital divide. The study concludes that the consolidation of online trials represents a decisive step toward a more accessible, efficient, and transparent justice system.
